Brent Crude Oil

Brent Crude is one of the three main benchmarks for crude oil prices per barrel. The price increase of Brent Crude Oil is essentially caused by a shortage of supply and vice versa. Increasing oil prices helps oil companies to gain a higher profit margin and improve their total production volume. Naturally, oil companies’ share price has positive correlation with Brent Crude Oil price.
